16, 2004 - Landmark Health Solutions has named Teresa Trimble as
their new Chief Clinical Officer. In this senior management role, she
will be responsible for planning and directing LHS clinical resources
to ensure quality care throughout the organization and within their
consulting engagements.
Ms. Trimble
holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Social Sciences, as well as a Bachelor
of Science in Nursing, from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
Prior to college, she spent four years in the Army, and is currently
an Air Force Reservist.
For the
last eighteen years, Ms. Trimble has worked for the Department of Health
and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
in Seattle, WA. During her tenure there, Ms. Trimble was promoted from
Nurse Consultant, to Branch Chief of Survey and Certification, to one
of only three Associate Regional Administrators for the Division of
Medicaid and State Operations. In this senior executive capacity, she
worked with 500-plus nursing homes, in a 4-state region, providing technical
guidance to states and long-term care facilities developing and implementing
quality of care improvement projects. While at CMS, Teresa was detailed
to Baltimore serving as Division Director for the Data & Systems
Management Branch. During this time, she was active on the former First
Lady Hillary Rodham Clintons health care commission, providing
weekly reports to the work group. She also traveled to Afghanistan in
2001 to aid in organizing a vaccine program.
Ms. Trimble
was recognized for playing a key role in implementing the national Nutrition/Hydration
project for the elderly program, planning and implementing performance
standards for all 50 states resulting in the improvement of state agencys
performance, and leading a large work group responsible for strategic
planning and program solving to address methods of increasing enrollment
in Children Health Program in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.
Ms. Trimble
has been to every state in the country, as well as to Japan, Korea,
Guam, Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Iran, Tunisia, and most of the European
countries.
