Frank Basler, R.N., Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations

With over twenty-five years of nursing and management experience in acute and long-term care, Mr. Basler is responsible for all aspects of clinical operations, including oversight of nursing, social services, and therapeutic recreation; the development and implementation of clinical systems; quality monitoring of direct care services; and regulatory compliance. Prior to coming to Landmark, he was Corporate Director of Clinical Operations and Outcomes with Harborside Healthcare, where he developed data-tracking systems for infection control, incidents, and accidents and quality indicators. In addition, he authored the Infection Control and Restorative Nursing manuals and developed related training programs. As Quality Management Advisor for Beverly Enterprises, Mr. Basler's systems resulted in improved facility compliance and survey management. He earned his nursing degree from Laboure College.

Barbara E. Bruhm, R.N., M.S., Executive Director, Clinical Consulting

Ms. Bruhm joined Landmark in 2006 as the Senior Vice-President of Clinical Operations transitioning into the Executive Director role in 2008. While serving in the SVP role, she worked with the Landmark team to optimize both clinical quality and clinical reimbursement results in the Landmark Centers. As a part of this effort, Ms. Bruhm provided leadership and direction to the team as it successfully assisted two special focus facilities to achieve sustained clinical compliance resulting in their removal from the SFF listing. She has extensive experience in the performance improvement process having held the position of Performance Improvement Advisor with the MA QIO and currently serves as a Step II Senior Quality Award Examiner for the American Health Care Association. She is well versed in the implementation of performance improvement methods for regulatory compliance and sustainable quality outcomes, program development and health care education.
